How does Cialis works?
Cialis works for long duration in quick time as its stays in your
system for up to 36 hours. It allows you to respond to your partner at
the right moment. When a man is sexually excited, his body normally
reacts by increasing the blood flow to his penis. This results into an
erection. ED occurs when the blood flow to the penis is diminished or
lessened, this can be caused by a number of medical conditions.
Cialis is branded to improve erectile function in most men, even when
men suffer with mild, moderate or severe erectile dysfunction. In
clinical trials Cialis has shown great promise with satisfactory
results. Cialis helps to boost your confidence by improving your
ability with power to maintain hard and strong erection, which will
give you the ultimate satisfaction during sexual intercourse.
How does Cialis compare to Viagra?
Cialis works faster than Viagra. Cialis starts its act in just 30
minutes time, where as Viagra take 4 long hours. As Cialis stays in
your body for 36hrs, it allows you to choose the right moment.
What are the doses?
Cialis is available in 10mg and 20mg. The recommended dose is no more
then one pill (10/20mgs) per day.
What are the possible side effects of Cialis?
Medicines and their possible side effects can affect individual people
in different ways. The following are some of the side effects that are
known to be associated with Cialis. Because a side effect is stated
here, it does not mean that all people using Cialis will experience
that or any side effect.
- Headache
- Nasal congestion
- Indigestion (dyspepsia)
- Back pain
- Dizziness
- Flushing
- Pain in the muscles (myalgia)
- Eye pain
- Red eye due to excess blood supply (hyperaemia)
- Swelling of the eyelids
Who should not take Cialis?
Cialis (tadalafil) must not be taken with any form of nitrate
medication, as this combination can produce a severe drop in blood
pressure that can cause dizziness, fainting, or even a heart attack.
Nitrate medications include the following:
- nicorandil
- glyceryl trinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, isosorbide dinitrate,
used for angina or heart failure.
- amyl nitrate (also known as 'poppers').
If Cialis is taken by people who are taking medicines for high blood
pressure (antihypertensives), the combination may potentially cause an
extra drop in blood pressure. This is unlikely to be significant, but
you should be aware that if it does occur it may make you feel dizzy.
The use of Cialis with other treatments for erectile dysfunction is not
recommended, as the safety of such combinations has not yet been
established.
The following medicines may increase the blood level of tadalafil,
which could increase the risk of side effects:
- The antifungal medicines ketoconazole and itraconazole.
- The antibiotic medicines clarithromycin and erythromycin.
- The HIV protease inhibitors ritonavir and saquinavir.
Tell your doctor if you are taking any of these as you may need a lower
tadalafil dose. Grapefruit juice taken with tadalafil may also cause an
increase in the blood level of tadalafil.
